 During the holiday I went to a place that was hot and there were lots of people at the skatepark. The skatepark is massive and it is by Rolleston and Lyttelton. There are lime scooters in the town. It is massive and it is on the south island. The city is 20 m above sea level. The city speaks English, Maori, and Sign Language. The city is 164 years old. In winter there are heavy snowfalls It is one of the largest cities in New Zealand the Maori name for the city is otautahi.

Madagascar

 

We learnt about french and how to speak french and what countries speak french. I have done Madagascar as you can see in the picure french is a good language to learn.

Today we picked a rule from the kawa of care and we talked about it I picked don't eat or  drink near your Chromebook one of the biggest rules are to not have food or drinks near your Chromebook so you don't have to buy a new Chromebook and that will cost money.

The Ants and the Grasshopper

  We have been reading the story of The Ants and the Grasshopper which is a fable.A fable is a short story with animals that are given human like qualities and it teaches you a lesson.

1.what bush creatures are included in this story?

ant,grasshopper,wasp,huhu grubs,weta.

2. What did the grasshopper do during the first

summer of the story? Lay in the sun and make

music.

3.what services did the grasshopper provide the

ant over the winter? Served food,watched them

when they slept and fixed the holes in the roof.

4.How did the huhu grubs pay the grasshopper?

They paid him in food.

5.The moral of the story is that the grasshopper

learnt his lesson and to fight for himself and

prepare for next winter and it teaches us to work

hard so you're prepared for hard times.

Because they are small animals that don't talk a

lot and they are too busy working.

They wanted him to learn a lesson because he

didn’t listen when they said to gather resources.

give some food to the ant’s? Because the ants

kept him alive over winter.

It made the characters seem like  humans and it

taught us a lesson .
